With faithfulness to the teachings of the Catholic Church, prompted by the Holy Spirit and under the authority of the Bishop of the Diocese of Venice, Florida, the mission of the Diocese of Venice Catholic Charismatic Renewal (DVCCR) Commission is to stir into flame the grace of Pentecost by promoting a personal relationship with Jesus, knowledge of the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity, the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit (CCC# 1831) and the Charisms of the Holy Spirit through Baptism in the Holy Spirit (an infusion of the Holy Spirit into our daily lives).
Our mission is accomplished through the formation and pastoring of prayer groups and spiritual growth experiences including but not limited to prayer group meetings, diocesan-wide and parish-focused retreats, days of renewal, seminars, workshops, missions and conferences.
